Giants make Cam Skattebo injury announcement about ankle news, hospital trip

The New York Giants lost Cam Skattebo to a nasty injury on Sunday.

Shortly after, they announced his status, and it's not news anyone wants to hear.

Skattebo has been diagnosed with a dislocated ankle.

The rookie RB has been taken to a local hospital for "further evaluation."

Skattebo went down late in the first half after a reception, with his ankle clearly out of whack. It was a visually difficult injury to look at for those around the scene.

The cart had to come out to get Skattebo. The Giants were clearly distraught.

He was carted off with his right ankle in an air cast, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"Players don't even want to look," wrote ESPN's Jordan Raanan on X .
