LACY LAKEVIEW, Texas — One suspect is in police custody, while another remains at large, according to the Lacy Lakeview Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of a person pointing a gun at multiple people on Saturday. Upon arrival, police said officers saw the suspect and another person leaving in a car. Police began following the suspects, leading to a car chase from Lacy Lakeview through Waco.

Police stated that both suspects got out of their car and started running away. Officers were able to apprehend one suspect. The other suspect was not found.

Lacy Lakeview PD said the person pointing the gun at others was positively identified, and warrants for his arrest are being obtained.

The department thanked the community for its continued support.
