PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - Peoria Police say a 19-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries from gunfire Saturday afternoon in South Peoria.
A police spokesperson said officers were called at 4:01 p.m. after a ShotSpotter alert indicated 14 shots were fired in the 2600 block of West Krause Avenue, near South Griswold Street.
Two minutes later, police said they received a second ShotSpotter alert of four shots fired in the 2200 block of West Malone Street, near South Westmoreland Avenue.
According to police, a 19-year-old man was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital suffering from a graze wound to his buttocks.
Police are investigating, but they have no suspect information.
