Toronto police arrested one person after a robbery investigation in Etobicoke resulted in a collision involving police vehicles and the suspect vehicle.
The collision happened around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday near Kipling Avenue and The Queensway, according to a social media post by Toronto Police Service. Police say they were investigating a robbery in the area at the time.
One police officer and one adult male were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Toronto EMS.
Additional suspects remain outstanding, police said on social media, but TPS would not say how many suspects they are still looking for or the age of the person arrested, when asked by CBC News.
Parts of multiple roads are closed in the area as the investigation continues, according to police.
