The New York Giants head coach, Brian Daboll, didn’t hide behind excuses after the Big Blue lost to the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. He said the Giants got outplayed, flat-out beaten in every phase.
The 38-20 loss is a tough blow to Daboll, as his team sits at 2-6 now. But the real storm came from what happened under the scrum of the infamous tush push. What followed became the breaking point for Daboll’s frustration with how his team kept getting officiated.
When asked about the refs’ decisions, he said, “I’m not going to comment on what I think about the officials.”
But everyone saw what happened. Kayvon Thibodeaux ripped the ball from Jalen Hurts ; refs killed it. Forward progress, they said. Giants fans didn’t buy it. Neither did Thibodeaux.
