PLYMOUTH — At least 300 children and their families attended Plymouth Alive’s annual “Shawnee Spooktacular” Halloween event Sunday at Plymouth’s Goodwill Hose Co. #2.
“Last year, we tried 150 pumpkins and we had sold out in the first 25 minutes,” said Plymouth Alive’s President Alexis Eroh.
The event, now in its second year, featured pumpkin decorating, candy, food, a DJ, bounce house, and storytime performed by a local librarian from the Plymouth Public Library.
There was even a haunted house set up inside of the fire department. There was a line of kids wrapped around the building for most of the event.
All three Plymouth fire departments participated in the spooktacular, along with the police department, the Plymouth Historical Society, Plymouth Public Library, and Plymouth Rotary.
