MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two inmates who were reported missing from the satellite camp of Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Memphis in Millington have been found, the Federal Bureau of Prisons said.
According to the bureau, Samuel Thomas, 42, and Duwuane Rhodes, 28, were discovered missing around 3 a.m. Sunday. Authorities said they returned at 2:35 p.m. and are currently back in custody.
The bureau said they are placed in the Special Housing Unit at FCI Memphis after violating the rules and regulations of the facility.
Thomas and Rhodes will be transferred to a more secure facility, authorities said.
Thomas was sentenced in the Eastern District of Missouri to a 72-month sentence for possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl. Rhodes was sentenced in the Eastern District of Missouri
