New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo was carted off the football field after suffering a gruesome injury during the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Cam , 23, is a rookie player who was drafted to the Giants earlier this year and it sadly looks like his season could be over.

While Cam was trying to make a catch during the game on Sunday afternoon (October 26), Eagles linebacker Zack Baun grabbed him and brought him to the ground. Cam’s leg got caught underneath him and his ankle was dislocated in the process.

Cam was carted off the field and taken to a Philadelphia-area hospital, where he’s set to have surgery on Sunday night.
