HONESDALE, Pa. — The parking lot at this Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealer in Honesdale quickly filled up as riders came to show their support for a family in mourning.

On September 28th, 55-year-old public safety officer Jose Alberto Duran Jr. was responding to an active shooter situation in The Hideout, the gated community he served in Salem Township. Authorities say 26-year-old Lucas Gartrell shot his parents, who survived, before shooting and killing Duran.

The Pennsylvania chapter of the Allegiance motorcycle club is here to show the family they are not alone.
