FOXBOROUGH, Massachusetts — The next time the Browns play a football game, it will be more than a week into November. The last time they played in October was a performance fitting of that month's most famous holiday.

The Browns lost 32-13 at the New England Patriots , dropping them to 2-6 for the season. They will now have a week off for their bye before they play again Nov. 9 at the New York Jets.
