PLEVNA, Mont. – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is inviting public feedback on a proposed resurfacing project for US Highway 12 near Plevna.

The work will cover about 11 miles, divided into two projects starting at the O’Fallon Creek Bridge, 11 miles west of Plevna, and extending to just west of Plevna, MDT said in a release .

The planned work includes milling, repaving, a seal and cover, upgraded pavement markings and new signage. Additionally, culverts in poor condition will be rehabilitated or replaced.

MDT said the goal is to extend the pavement's service life, enhance safety and reduce maintenance costs.
