ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Members of the community came out to honor their loved ones at the annual Dia De Los Muertos Community Celebration of Life. The free event was held on Sunday at La Parada and Farm and Table.
The day started with a pet blessing ceremony, and organizers set up a community ofrenda, where people could place photos of their loved ones who have passed in a space of remembrance. "This is our 21st annual, which is amazing that we've been doing for 21 years, Dia De Los Muertos event, and it's called Dia De Los Muertos Community Celebration of Life, and that is really important to us. That it's truly a community event, and it's a celebration of life. We're honoring our loved ones with this ofrenda and even just being here, being in community, so it's like a really special
