FORT ATKINSON, Wis. -- The Fort Atkinson Police Department is investigating a shots fired incident on Sunday evening.

Officers were dispatched just after 5:20 p.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Washington Street, south of Sherman Avenue W.

Police said the scene is safe and secure and there is no danger to the public.

Emergency personnel remain on scene as they work to complete the investigation.
