A man has been hospitalised with head and leg injuries after a single-vehicle accident near Nundle.
Emergency services were called to the accident site in Morrisons Gap Road, south-east of Nundle, about 4.45pm on Saturday, October 25.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle, a man in his 70s, was found trapped in the vehicle after it rolled and came to rest pinned against a tree.
The spokesperson said it took emergency services "some time" to release the patient from the vehicle.
The man was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service's critical care medical team for lower limb and head injuries before being airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital just after 8pm.
