The best performing state secondary schools in Bristol for 2025 have been revealed, based on GCSE results. The Department for Education has published performance data for every secondary school in England for the 2024/25 academic year.
The figures are released just two weeks before parents in Bristol face a deadline to submit applications for Year 7 places in September 2026.
Redland Green School was the highest ranked school in Bristol, with just over two thirds (67.8 per cent) of pupils scoring a grade 5 or above in English and Maths GCSEs. In second place was Bristol Free School, where 66.3 per cent of pupils achieved the Grace 5 or above in Maths and English, followed by St Bede's Catholic Co
