At this point, Friday evening trick-or-treat plans look iffy. The heaviest rain and wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected Thursday into Friday morning, and the timing of how quickly that system exits will determine whether showers linger into Friday night. Temperatures will be seasonable for late October, so winter coats won’t be needed but a rain jacket might come in handy.
