When it comes to hobbies , you could say I’ve been a little promiscuous.

There was the summer I picked up the cello – an instrument I’ve always loved – and the time not long after I thought I might become a DJ.

Then there was the month I became a regular at Parramatta Road’s iconic I Love You Beads shop, picking up sequins, crystals and beads like a magpie with a bank account, and the month I thought I’d make my own clothes.

There was also gardening, printmaking and scrapbooking.

And, like everyone else on the planet, I got pretty into making sourdough during lockdown.

But, thousands of dollars and countless hours later, none have made for suitable bedfellows. Until now.
