New Delhi: None of the MBBS students from the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 batches received any benefits under the scholarship scheme launched by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr RML Hospital , revealed the information obtained via an RTI application.

Filing the RTI, Dr. Aman Kaushik, sought the details on how many students from the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 batches received financial need-based scholarships and how many students from the 2021, 2022, and 2023 batches received academic performance-based scholarships as of 27.09.2025.

In response to the application, the authorities at the institute replied on October 23, saying, "No MBBS student has been disbursed any scholarship of this institute so far."
