BRS working president KT Rama Rao once again displayed his humanitarian side by facilitating the return of a Gulf migrant who was stranded in Muscat, back to his native village in the district.
A native of Baswapur in Thangallapalli mandal, Balasani Gouraiah had gone to Muscat two months ago in search of employment. However, upon reaching there, he realised he had been deceived by an agent. The company not only failed to pay him the promised salary but also seized his passport, leaving
him helpless.
Facing severe hardship, Gouraiah recorded a selfie video narrating his ordeal and shared it in local WhatsApp groups. Responding swiftly, Rama Rao wrote to the Indian Embassy in Muscat on October 12, seeking assistance to secure Gouraiah’s release and facilitate his return.
