CORTLAND Cortland is officially welcoming a new retailer on Monday as Lakeview Ace Hardware will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event will mark the opening of the new location at 569 S. High Street, in the former Rite Aid location.

The store, whose owner Toma Leveto says will serve the community’s hardware and improvement needs, will maintain a seven-day operating schedule. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend shoppers can visit from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

The opening represents an addition to the local retail landscape, offering a variety of products from tools to gardening supplies.
