NORMAN — Trailing by 12 late in the third quarter, OU football desperately demanded some juice.

It felt like Ole Miss was going to take full control and blow the Sooners out of their own stadium. That is, until Xavier Robinson entered the chat.

The sophomore, who starred at Carl Albert High School , broke off a 65-yard touchdown run to bring OU within five and gave the 83,468 in attendance at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium a jolt of energy. Over four minutes later, Robinson powered his way 9 yards and into the end zone to give the Sooners a one-point lead.
