Life today has this singular ironical twist in it. We go rushing through one cheap life only to discover that there is not much time for this life anymore. Deadlines to meet, families to look after, life-on-air with notifications-everything keeps one in motion from daylight. The night deepens, darkness sheets over all tiredness, and we look out for "Some Day"-when we would be able to take it easy. Something terrible happens to "Some Day"-it just does not come.

I arrived at this realization after the incident quite recently and in quite an everyday manner; I found out in the evening that my step counter had recorded less than one thousand steps for the day. I laughed somewhat thinking it was a joke. It was not. The number actually explained more of my lifestyle than would any blood report.
