A 30-year-old man was flown to a Boston Hospital Sunday night after being hit by a motor vehicle in Millis, police said.

Millis Police received multiple 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian near 428 Main St. around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Chief Christopher J. Soffayer wrote in a statement posted on Facebook . First responders found a 30-year-old man with serious injuries.

The man was taken by medical helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Soffayer said in the statement.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing, according to the statement.
