A 24-year-old man, Martin Chikunta, is fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit after being allegedly stabbed by his girlfriend’s brother following a domestic dispute in Linda Compound, Livingstone in Zambia, on Friday.

Southern Province Commanding Officer, Auxensio Daka, confirmed the incident, which was reported at Linda Police Station on October 25, 2025, as a case of Unlawful Wounding.

Reports indicate that Chikunta had visited the mother of his child when an argument between the couple escalated into a physical confrontation. The girlfriend’s mother and her son, Paul Chipalo, 20, intervened, overpowering Chikunta.
