Cineplex is launching “Monday Surprise Premieres,” an event that features an exclusive mystery screening of a major new release.

On Monday, Nov. 10, theatre-goers can pay $8.99 (in-theatre price) to watch a brand-new, unreleased film. Online purchases are still subject to the $1.50 online booking fee (or $1 for Scene+ members). Further, Cineclub members can use their free monthly ticket on this.

It’s worth noting that the ticket price is cheaper than typical standard admission tickets, which increased to $16 at the end of 2024 .

Customers won’t know the title of the film until the lights go down. These films will be brand-new and unreleased, so you probably won’t be able to guess the film ahead of time.
