BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WSAV) — A Brunswick man pleaded guilty and was sentenced in the Brunswick Judicial Circuit for child molestation on Oct. 22, District Attorney Keith Higgins announced.
Valdez Lozada, 54, pleaded guilty and was sentenced on two counts of cruelty to children in the first degree, four counts of child molestation, two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of electronically furnishing obscene material to minors and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.
Lozada was sentenced to a total of 60 years with 40 years to serve in the Department of Corrections for all counts.
Lozada was arrested on Feb. 12 by the Glynn County Police Department after officers responded to a call at the Glynn Mobile Home Park in reference to a sex offense.
