EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Amid uncertainty about the future of SNAP benefits, the East Baton Rouge Parish Council on Aging has announced food assistance.

Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry has warned that SNAP benefits could run dry for some people by the start of November if the federal government shutdown continues.
