Former Strictly pro Clifton has addressed speculation that he's poised to replace hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly alongside his partner Stacey Dooley. ‌

Claudia and Tess stunned viewers last week when they revealed they're departing the BBC dance show at the conclusion of this series. ‌

The pair made television history as the first all-female presenting partnership in primetime when they teamed up in 2014. Tess has been with Strictly Come Dancing since its inception, originally co-hosting with Bruce Forsyth from 2004. ‌
