LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Two people were arrested after five children, including an infant, were pulled from a northwest Lincoln home filled with drugs and firearms, court documents show.
On Friday, Lincoln Police were conducting surveillance on a house near Northwest Fourth Street and West Saunders Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to court documents, investigators contacted and detained 30-year-old Jose Cruz and another man in the front yard of the house. Cruz was allegedly found to have a cellphone, a straw with meth residue and $120 on his person.
Investigators then announced a search warrant for the house, and kicked open the front door.
