Sophia Rogers of Battle Ground cross country is The Columbian 2025-26 Week 6 high school athlete of the week, sponsored by Killer Burger.

Rogers picked up 525 of the 1,251 votes cast this week to win the honor.

The junior raced to a three-second win in a league dual against Camas, winning 19:15 in for 5,000 meters at Lewisville Park.

In the included video, Rogers answers three questions posed by her teammate: Does she prefer a long run or tempo workout? Would she rather be a rodeo clown or a matador and are vampires or werewolves more dangerous?
