The blanket of clouds that have been draped over the region the last few days will stick around for a couple more days, bringing some much needed moisture late Tuesday afternoon and into the overnight hours.
Tonight, clouds will still be around, keeping low temperatures from dropping too much, only into the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Tuesday will start off mainly dry, with a spot drizzle or two possible.
However, heading into the second half of Tuesday, specifically late afternoon and early evening, rain will begin to move into the viewing area from the west, making high temperatures in the 50s feel a little cooler. The storm system is expected to bring light or moderate rainfall across the entire region through a majority of the night.
