The Brandon Fitness Combat Academy hosted its annual Fall Brawl Boxing Event over the weekend, bringing together a lineup of determined athletes who put their strength, skill and heart to the test inside the ring.

Hosted inside the Brandon Fitness Combat Academy gym, the event drew athletes from Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina and Ontario, and featured 12 matches — 10 competitive bouts and two sparring sessions alongside six fighters representing the home club.

One of the highlights of the night for local fans was Brandon boxer Jesse Kreutzer’s victory over Simon Federkevik of Pan Am Boxing Club (Winnipeg) in the 70-kilogram category.

The win marked his fourth career victory, improving record to four wins and two losses, Kreutzer told the Sun after his Saturday fight.
