Patients have been put at risk at two major hospitals after a woman allegedly sabotaged their water and gas supplies after climbing into restricted areas.

The 42-year-old allegedly cut gas and water mains just after midnight on Tuesday before setting off the fire hoses at Kareena Private Hospital at Caringbah, in Sydney's south.
About an hour later, she allegedly walked across the road to Sutherland Hospital and switched off the medical gasses, forcing the facility to switch
