Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday participated in Chhath Puja rituals and offered ‘Usha Arghya’ to the rising sun on the last day of the festival at his residence in Patna.

Janata Dal (United) Working President Sanjay Jha also offered Usha Arghya and prayers on the last day of the Chhath Puja at the Chhath Ghat in Patna.

Speaking to ANI, Jha said, “Today I wish all the people of Bihar that Chhati Maiya bless them and also Bihar, which needs welfare the most.”

Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the Chhath Puja event in Guwahati on the last day of the festival. He met the attendees and devotees present at the event.
