Guwahati : The Assam Chief Minister today reiterated his government’s commitment to empowering women through the creation of over 39 lakh ‘Lakhpati Baideos’ under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA).

Addressing an enthusiastic gathering of women from self-help groups and rural communities, the CM highlighted that the initiative is not just an economic scheme, but a social revolution that seeks to transform every household through women’s leadership and entrepreneurship. “Our mothers and sisters are the foundation of our society.
