The Election Commission sent a notice Prashant Kishor on Tuesday amid claims that he is illegally registered as a voter in two states.

The former poll strategist had worked with the TMC in 2021 and apparently registered as a voter from the assembly constituency of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He is also registered as a voter in his native place Kargahar assembly segment within Bihar.

Dual voter?

Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor landed in a controversy on Tuesday when it came to light that he was allegedly registered as a voter in his home state of Bihar as well as adjoining West Bengal.
