FARGO – Fargo police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city’s south side Monday night.

The Fargo Department says officers responded to a shooting report at an apartment building in the 2700 block of 41st Street S. around 9:30 p.m.

That’s where they say they found the man with a gunshot wound.

Authorities took the victim to a hospital where he died about 45 minutes later.

Investigators believe the suspect and victim knew one another.
