SRINAGAR : Jammu Kashmir government on Tuesday said that the Centre has extended the timeline for completion of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects in the Union Territory till December 2028, following delays caused by non-release of funds during 2024-25. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

In response to a query in the Assembly, the minister, said that all water supply schemes under JJM were initially targeted to be completed by March 31, 2025.

“However, the delay in release of required funds under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) and Union Territory Sector (UTS) led to a revision in the deadline.
