PDP leader and MLA from Pulwama, Waheed Parra, had tabled a bill seeking land rights for people residing on government land. Reacting to it, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah dismissed the proposal, terming it “impossible.” He said a similar initiative had been attempted earlier under the Roshni Scheme, but such a move cannot be implemented now.
