WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — As Hurricane Melissa pounds Jamaica with high winds and heavy rain, several people from Wichita are stuck on the island waiting for flights to reopen.

David and Dawn Miller of Wichita say Jamaica has always been special to them — it’s where they got married in 2015 and have returned several times since. This trip, their fourth, has been one they won’t forget.
