Kanawha County and the City of Charleston have moved Trick-or-Treat to Friday due to expected rainy weather.
Trick-or-Treat times in the Kanawha Valley will now be Halloween night from 6-8 p.m.
Trick-or-treaters should stay on the sidewalks in groups supervised by adults and carry a flashlight. Only visit houses with the porch light on and don't enter a stranger's home. Don't eat candy that appears to have been opened or tampered with.
Drivers should drive slowly in residential areas.
