One of the brightest talent in Indian cricket Shreyas Iyer, who also happens to be the vice president of the ODI format faced a detrimental situation on the field in the recent India versus Australia game.
After taking a brilliant catch in the 3rd ODI, Shreyas Iyer appeared to have injured his rib cage and was immediately shifted to hospital for medical attention. The situation was so very alarming that Shreyas Iyer was almost immediately taken to ICU for extensive care.
But the good thing now is that the latest updates are suggesting that Shreyas is out of immediate danger and is recovering. Iyer underwent surgery for a spleen injury and has totally recovered since. His condition is stable, and he is out of the ICU. The surgery was a minor procedure, but it has required Iyer to rest for
