It took a little extra time to determine the final playoff berth out of 11-5A, as Heritage and Independence finished in a tie for fourth place in the final district standings.

The two teams met to determine which would earn the right to play another day and it was the Coyotes to claimed that honor with a 25-23, 25-20, 18-25, 25-23 victory.
