Fired on Mars is an underrated animated sitcom on HBO that too few people saw. The pantheon of great sitcoms is mostly made up of live-action TV series, save for a few notable exceptions like The Simpsons and Bob's Burgers . Fired on Mars needs to enter the conversation, however, and join the ranks.

HBO is not necessarily known for its sitcoms, but you can expect that when it gives the genre a try, it's going to knock it out of the park. Fired on Mars is a workplace sitcom set on Mars and perfectly captures the malaise of modern work life, making a point of how technological processes won't necessarily make things better.
