STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A Staten Island coalition that once united dozens of women’s organizations is being revitalized after several years of inactivity following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sisterhood of Women’s Organizations is seeking to reconnect community leaders across the borough as it returns to its mission of uniting, empowering and advocating for Staten Island women and families.

“The Sisterhood has always been a powerful voice when we come together,” said organizer Rosemarie Dressler. “We’re calling on all Staten Island women’s organizations — past members and new groups alike — to join us as we prepare for the next chapter of collective action.”
