To help bridge the digital divide through instructional help with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops, the Santa Maria Public Library will offer several one-on-one Tech Help sessions in November.
Each appointment provides 25 minutes for instruction on topics such as setting up new devices, installing apps, privacy best practices, and enjoying Library e-resources at home.
The program will not include assistance with hardware repairs, virus removal, financial transactions, or applications that require users to input sensitive information.
Tech Help appointments are available by appointment only by calling the Library at 805-925-0994 ext. 8562.
The following sessions will be held in the Library’s Learning Loft this month:
Sunday, Nov. 2 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11
