A former mental health worker in Baltimore County was charged with rape involving a minor at Sheppard Pratt, police said.

Michael Cabanalan, 35, was charged with second-degree rape and other sex offenses. Detectives said the alleged incidents occurred while the victim was being treated at Sheppard Pratt.

Cabanalan is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
