There were 4,798 sales in the period in communities with five or more sales in each of the three months and a median selling price of $1 million, says Attom data. That’s up 1% from the previous year and accounted for 75% of countywide sales. Busiest seven-figure ZIP was Laguna Niguel 92677 with 216 sales.
Prices ranged from $5.20 million in Newport Beach 92662 to $1.02 million in Garden Grove 92841.
There were 25 ZIPs with prices under $1 million. Sales totaled 1,616 – up 0.2% in a year. Busiest sub-million ZIP was Rancho Santa Margarita 92688 with 140 sales.
