Will Klein was the Los Angeles Dodgers ' last option, their 10th pitcher in their 6-5, 18-inning victory over the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 3 of the World Series.

The Bloomington, Indiana, native pitched 4 scoreless innings Monday night (Tuesday morning ET) before Freddie Freeman homered to put Los Angeles up 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

The 25-year-old left-hander allowed 1 hit, walked 2 batters and struck out 5. Toronto had two runners on in the top of the 18th before Klein struck out Tyler Heineman to end the inning.

"I did not know it's midnight (Pacific time). Time flies when you're having fun," he said on the field postgame. "I feel great. Glad it ended right there, though."
