BELGRADE — A disturbance on Crockett Street in Belgrade led to a person being killed and an officer wounded Monday, according to authorities.

"One Belgrade officer sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where they are currently listed in stable condition," per a press release from the Belgrade Police Department. "The suspect involved in the incident is deceased."

The incident was described as an officer-involved shooting. As of late Monday night, police hadn't released the names of the officer or the deceased.
